A while back I was roundly chastised here on the Rush thread for having a tag that read, “Conservatives are the TRUE “RINOS”
I took it down to keep the peace on the thread at the time.
I get what you’re trying to say, but if you really think about it, Conservativism as we know it is a relatively recent movement within the GOP, so RINOs could make the case that we’re the upstarts.
I can no longer claim “RINO” status... Thanks to the GOP’s wonderful behavior as of late, I filed it and am now an “INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE”
And enjoyed explaining it in Erotic DETAIL to the RCCC when they CALLED not two weeks later.
