To my way of thinking this is a state issue, not a federal issue at all.

On what authority does the federal government have to decide how much you pay to drive down a state built, maintained and plowed road?

There are still some governors out there with the testicular fortitude to tell the federal government to blow it out their *ss, I believe and hope mine would be one of them.

I agree with you, but there are at least three states following this proposal with discussion of implementation, and isn’t that the point of the Transportation head to bring it up...so that the Obamamites would implement it in their state?? But like I said before, it is double taxation, when we are already paying a gas tax, so a mileage tax is for the same thing—driving miles.
