"When MSNBC asked Collins how she would react to the restoration of the House spending plan, she replied, The Democrats will lose my vote.
Similar remarks by Specter prompted House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.), not known for his bellicosity, to fire back at his weekly pen-and-pad session with reporters: Im shocked that any senator of any party would say this is the bill we passed, take it or leave it.

Nancy Pelosi has to learn to get over herself. She is not Queen and is not better than the people. She has been elected to serve the people; not the other way around.

It would be wise for other elected office holders to remember they are also elected to serve the people.

The Socialist Dems should have never HAD your vote! The Republican party need to clean house and purge all RINOs... as I said in my email to the new RNC head Michael Steele.

Does it really matter??
Will the Senate need 60 votes for final passage or is it a simple majority now. If that is the case, we are soooooooooooooooo screwed.

three moderate Republicans and a conservative Democrat Why not, "three liberal Republicans and a moderate Democrat"? Because the writer wants you to believe that a non-moderate is an extremist.

Obama is the typical shyster salesman. Its the best thing available anywhere and is only available if you buy it today without examining any of its details. In truth its a real bufflo jump ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_jump ) with congress and Obama driving the nation over the cliff.
Will Obama wait for five days of email comments before he signs this? Seems as though someone on FR found such a promise.

I contacted both Sen. Collins' office and Sen. Snowe's office (my Senators)the other day.
I made it clear that I cannot and will not vote for anyone in the future that votes 'Yea' on the final stimulus bill.
I urge all Mainers to do the same!

The Senate version is already $58 billion more than the 3 RINOs were telling us when they voted for it and they knew it was. They lied to us to make us believe “they” negotiated the price tag down below the $800 billion psychological price tag.

Arlen Spector and the others must have realized that their turncoating wasn’t perceived as “bi-partisan” and “getting things done in Washington” and the backlash was more than they expected.

Lets hope and pray that the three traitors are looking for a way to reverse their vote while saving their pride at the same time (their egos are so big they can't publicly admit that they are feeling pressure from their own party and their constituents.)

Unless Spector, Collins, and Snowe pull out, they will forever be responsible for wrecking American lives.
Kerry wrecked American lives in 1971... ruined innocent military folks' reputations... unforgivable!!
Not to late for the Senators... I suggest they act now... pull out!!!

Pelosi will allow the house to approve the Senate bill without changes so as not to give our three RINO’s a chance to redeem themselves.
