I have a home in Scottsdale. McCain is not popular among Reps. Since his last reelection in 2004, we have had McCain emerge as the Amnesty King. He is also supporting a cap and trade system to address the global warming hoax. McCain's biggest test will come in the primary. If he gets the nomination, the Independents and moderate Dems will probably reelect him.
McCain has already screwed up big time with McCain-Kennedy and McCain-Lieberman. He was against the 2006 proposition in AZ that made English the official state language. It passed with 75% of the vote. And he has joined forces with Obama. Now it remains to be seen if Rep voters in AZ will hold him accountable.
