30 years ago I lived on a kibbutz right outside of Ashkelon. I wonder if they’ve been hit. Great Kibbutz. Brazilian founded. So everyone spoke Portuguese, Hebrew or English...a great experience for a young person!

Apparently history education is less than stellar in Israel also.
