WASHINGTON -- The Obama team, pledging the ''most open and transparent transition in history,'' gets and ''A'' for disclosing donors to the Jan. 20 inauguration and a ''F'' when it comes to revealing transition meetings with groups. Contrary to its own ''seat at the table transparency policy,'' meetings are not posted on a Web site.
I'm giving a ''B'' to the Obama transition report on staff contacts with Gov. Blagojevich. The report was a summary narrative released last week of an internal inquiry into Gov. Blagojevich's selling-of-a-Senate seat scandal. While the Obama team deserves credit for disclosure -- including that President-elect Barack Obama and incoming White House staffers Valerie Jarrett and Rahm Emanuel met with federal prosecutors -- offering some notes or transcripts to support the conclusions would have been helpful.
During the presidential primary campaign, then candidate Obama, still an Illinois senator, made a pledge I heard for the first time on Oct. 24, 2007. In a school gym in Dover, N.H., Obama said if president, he would post his meetings on the Internet. That was interesting to me because Obama's Senate staff had been very selective about what Obama Senate-related meetings they disclosed and seemed to be guided by a ''less is best'' policy.

Is that like the "gentleman's B" that students of good family used to get in the Ivy Leagues just for attending an occasional class and promising to be loyal alumni after they graduated?
Or is it perhaps more modern and politically correct--the rock bottom affirmative action grade for belonging to a designated minority group?

You and your mother were and are international mysteries. What was your mother’s fixation with lovers from other countries?
What is your real name?
When did you change your name from Barry Sotero to Barrack Obama?
How did you obtain a Birth Certificate describing you as Barrack Obama? Your name and identity were and are still altered upon your adoption. You cannot and could not change your birth certificate, EVER. Your BC establishes legal parentage. Upon reaching the age of emancipation your BC, of adoption, remains intact and should read Barry Sotero.
You cannot use fraudulent documents to move through life. You cannot claim to be a foreign national, for the purpose of obtaining a college loan, if you are in fact an american.
Are you now and have you ever been a foreign national. We know you were, at the minimum, an Indonesian National in your past. When did you become an American? What was that process?
To change your legal name and to become a naturalized american you would have an incredible paper trail. What were the forms you had complete? Where are they? May we view them?
How much did it cost to change your name to Barrack Obama? Did you employ a law firm to help you with this? Who are they?
Did you change your name by filling out the forms your self? How many records did you need to update so that your new legal identity would be consistent in each of the states you lived in, in the USA, in Kenya, In Britain and Indonesia.
When you traveled to Pakistan what passport did you use? American, Indonesian, Kenyan or British? What was the name on the passport.
Mr Obama, you are creating a huge problem for America and her people with your supressed identity. You must have learned that no one can know you for who you really are when your original identity was suppressed upon your adoption.
You have taken to suppressing any tangible proof of who you are, your education, your travels and most of all your eligibilty to take the oath of President of the United States of America.
Your parentage, grandparents and other relationships are figments of a clever imagination.
How long can a fraud be allowed to continue?

Why didn’t reporter check to see if fake persons or foreigners can contribute to the shindig on Jan 20th? They only release $200 contributors, just lke during the election. I wonder if they dismantled to security precautions? I assume they did.

1) Obama actually authorized Emanuel to talk to Blagojevichabout selecting his successor in the Senate.
2) In November Rham suggested that Valerie Jarrett would be an acceptable candidate.
3) Emanuel had four conversations with Blagojevich's chief of staff John Harris. Who also tried to benefit from helping with this corrupt scheme.
4) He was authorized by Obama to suggest others for the job: Dan Hynes, Tammy Duyckworth, Jan Schakowsky and of course race baiter/poverty pimp Jesse Jackson's son Jesse Jackson Jr. This took four conversations
5) Quoting the report they "discussed the merits of potential candidates and the strategic benefits each would bring to the Senate seat."
I recall that when Obama was first asked about this scandal, he was quoted as saying that "we"...then he changed it to "I"...had no contact with Blagojevich about this.
Good parse 'cause he apparently didn't contact Blagojevich, he has his
lackeyCapo do it.
Excellent. If only he was sitting in court and was being asked these questions under oath.
