What intelligence? JFK is the most overrated President of the 20th Century. You're probably not old enough to remember some of the most embarrassing live TV broadcasts with "Jackie's" tour of the White House, highlighted by an in-depth look at the historical art work: "Well...there's this picture here...and over there is another one..." Lest we forget Jackie's tour of the White House kitchen: "This is the kitchen. They cook our food here." Yes, the Kennedy brain trust disappeared long ago with the passing of old Joe Kennedy, and the Bouvier's added nothing to it. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's (Caroline's cousin) failed bid for Governor of the most liberal state in the Union (Maryland) signaled "game over." Now I understand why John-John and Caroline were kept largely under wraps all those years. They're idiots.
