These guys are scared to death that if their women know anything - anything at all - they’ll learn Taleban men are the worst in the world...
They also know instinctively that an educated woman will be less likely to be as easily controlled and may start to question the idiocy and rules being set down by the men. Education is power and they are afraid of the consequences of women getting any real power. I think that fear of women is an integral part of their lives and is why they must, through politics and religion, keep women in a subservient position.
