My Dad and I had this tradition of watching White Christmas each year (on Christmas Eve, since that’s when it was televised and then we had the VHS tape/VCR so watched it after dinner/before Midnight Mass). Last year, or the previous year, I got the DVD. My youngest and I started watching it on Thanksgiving...she’s a new convert. She’s in 5th grade and knows every song and scene. Her favorite is Choreography, which is my least favorite, but I like it, lol.
My Dad idolized Bing Crosby...and he had the old 33rpm recordings of his Christmas music. I found a set of them
in an antique store but have no player to play them on. :D
His versions of the tunes are a part of Christmas for me, too!
