LAS VEGAS — A Nevada corrections official says O.J. Simpson has arrived at a northern Nevada prison to serve his 9 to 33 year sentence.

State prisons spokeswoman Suzanne Pardee says the 61-year-old Simpson was moved Friday to Lovelock Correctional Center, about 90 miles northeast of Reno.

Lovelock is one of the newest and smallest prisons in the Nevada state prison system. It opened in 1995 and houses just under 1,500 inmates in two-bed cells.

You a big fan of no sense of humor, I guess. It’s freaking O.J., man! I thought FIVE prison rape euphemisms in two lines was rather good. What do I know?

I have seen some of those documentaries on tv of prison life. I was amazed how loud it was. I am a really light sleeper. I don’t know how I could sleep through all of that.

Wouldn't it be ironic if he got to share a cell with Nicole's REAL killer....LOL

They’ll get their balls in O.J.’s end zone without a penalty.

Hey, 2008/11/01 troll, think about this: OJ the head-chopping murderer is in prison, and the jail-cred that comes to the first pris’ner that ‘tames’ him guarantees that he’ll be sweet in no time. That’s justice.

Great news. The facility in Lovelock is out of town on a dry barren ridge with nothing to really look at except a mining facility and Interstate 80.

Awwww...don’t be harsh with him. He deserves sympathy. A Freep-A-Thon should be held for his benefit to raise the funds required for humor implant therapy for humorless, IQ-challenged newbie trolls.

The judge was a female.

She at length addressed the concerns whether or not the verdict was about getting even for 13 years ago.

She emphatically stated she didn’t care what OJ’s previous run-ins with the law were, she was concerned only with what had happened in this armed robbery case.

Additionally, OJ had the opportunity of a plea deal which would have been less time in jail, but he turned it down.

I think, after a while they get used to it. I base this on that on when my wife wanted to buy a grandfather clock. I thought at the time, the chiming would keep me from sleeping or wake me up but now I don’t even notice it.

All black people think O.J. is innocent of murdering his estranged wife and boy friend. All white people think he is guilty.

“I think this sentence is very excessive.
To those who say it’s payback for when he should have been convicted...
Maybe he should have...but he WASN’T. Should juries base punishment not on the case before them but their feelings about the defendant’s past trial... when that defendant was found not guilty...?”

You are right. He was legally acquitted of murder and then hounded by virtual lynch mobs until he fell. That’s not my idea of American justice. It’s a little more like Southern justice of the thirties.

were you there for the trial?

this jury had to be composed of the stupidest people on the planet

They could have been show VIDEOTAPE of him killing them, and they would nothave voted to convict.

That is what people are reacting to here.

And stupid judge Ito let this circus happen.

I thought we intelligently discussed news here....

I think that any post that consists of “I hope you die” should be removed.
