ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Alaska State Troopers have arrested the mother of Bristol Palin's boyfriend on drug charges.
Sherry L. Johnston was arrested Thursday after troopers served a search warrant on a Wasilla home. The 42-year-old Johnston has been charged with six felony drug counts.

If this incident is "real" and not any kind of set-up then I have to wonder how dumb that mother is to have anything to do with drugs now, knowing as anyone should how many Mediascum and Democrats are still salivating to embarrass Governor Palin.
Wonder if there could be some kind of entrapment involved, not necessarily from the police but could be an acquaintance who knew of some previous drug activity in years past and got this woman involved again. Not saying that happened, I have no idea, but it does seem incredible that the mother of Levi would get involved in anything illegal during THIS period of time — common sense says keep your nose clean when Mediascum would love to make a national issue of anything you do wrong.....

This will be a two-day story at best. With Blago, with the economy, with bailouts, with Christmas, no one cares about this. This woman’s behavior doesn’t reflect at all on Sarah Palin.

You underestimate the staying power in the discourse of the left and the Mediascum, IMHO.
Sure, the headlines may only be for a day or two, but mark my words, it will be worked into the paragraph-long descriptions of Wasill and Sarah Palin’s life there, on blogs, emails, etc. forever after. Nasty things will be said that no one would dare say about a friend of Obama or Rev. Wright etc. because that would be “racist”......
[following is how certain interested parties will portray it]: It will help to further the portrayal of Wasilla as some white-trash hick place where Bristol Palin gets knocked up by the white trash son of a drug dealing mother etc. etc. Not saying that’s fair or reasonable, it certainly should not reflect upon Governor Palin, but the left does not leave out any arrows from their quiver when they want to smear people.
LOL, this is ridiculous. Doesn’t have anything to do with Sarah Palin in any way whatsoever. Why is it even in the news? Or should we draw up a big list of all the people who have been arrested on drug charges and are twice removed from some prominent liberal? I’m sure that list would have millions of names on it, probably. Sheesh!
I fail to see how this is news. If this had been the mother-in-law of some a$$hole on the Ass. Press staff, we’d have never known about it. Liberal ‘RATS in the “media” are disgusting and hateful people.

The second thing to consider is that the federales, state police and others are looking for the perpetrator who burned down the Governor's Wasilla "church" (as distinct from the church she attends at the state capital).
It may fairly be presumed that the perpetrator is an outsider, probably connected to the MSM, and probably arrived there with the investigative crowd last October.
The pursuit of this particular story very far is going to reveal who burned the church, if it hasn't done so yet. I cannot help but notice that it's originally written by a fellow called "Jimmy Orr". He has a long track record of writing about the personal business of Govenor Palin's friends and relatives, if not the Governor herself.
Definitely strikes me as a bit OCD.
Now, anyone know anything else about this Orr guy? Has he visited Alaska in the last week perhaps?

Palin-daughter-boyfriend-mother.....good grief! I understand her husband’s brother’s father’s 2nd cousin thrice removed once stole a horse from a blind man too! The press is beyond ridiculous in this Palin pillaging, they are making themselves even more of a laughing stock and a medium to be ignored.

Well, any day now the Associated Press will scrutinize the family of Caroline Kennedy (Ha):
1. One rapes a girl and goes on trial.
2. One, while drunk, runs a car over a bridge, killing a girl, and walks away to run for president.He also becomes a longtime U.S. senator.
3. One bashes a neighbor girl to death with a golf club after raping her.
4. One dies of a drug overdose.
5. One gets arrested for DUI while driving under the influence of what he calls “Ambien.”
6. The Kennedy family, unlike Palin, who embraced, loved and showed pride in her child with a birth defect, placed their child away in an institution, and pretended she didn’t exist.
Am I missing any?
Of course you all know the “fair” and unbiased press will bring all this up.
Well, obviously, the woman whose daughter’s husband’s mother
(what the heck does that make her?) is NOT qualified for President on these grounds.
I guess the media will continue to focus on anyone peripherally connected in the slightest way to Palin for any foibles or flaws while praising the rectitude of appointing Sweet Caroline to the Senate.
The next we know, we will find out that Sarah Palin’s mother’s hairdresser’s daughter’s son’s best friend was arrested for conducting a panty raid in college!!
