AND....are you on our ping list for Founders’ Quotes?

Yup. Love them. Save a bunch.

As for the particular letters I favor, it's been a few years since I really sat down and read through everything so I couldn't really specify anything off the top of my head. One item I have on my (too lengthy for words) todo list is to read through both the Federalist and Federal Farmer tracts together and annotate and cross reference them to each other to make it easy for someone  to see the arguments as written for and against different subjects. This has probably been done, but I see it more as an educational experience for me to do it myself.

I think HTML is perfect for this type of thing, as you can cross-reference through hyperlinks and even set up things like dual frames to make looking at each side simultaneously. It's kind of funny, because I really detest frames most of the time, because they are used so poorly, but I'm thinking I might be able to actually make a valuable contribution if I can find the time to do the work.

On another point, have you ever read "Origins of the American Revolution" by John C. Miller?  (1943)  I found a copy at a flea market years ago and rather enjoyed it( thought not always agreeing with his conclusions), in that it was copiously annotated with period references. I believe it's been out of print for some time, but is worthwhile if you ever happen to see it in a well-stocked used bookstore or library.
