The corruption arrest of Gov. Rod Blagojevich is raising questions about what Sen. Barack Obama knew of the Illinois Democrat's alleged activities, including his apparent offer to appoint Obama's preferred candidate to serve in the U.S. Senate in return for "private sector" help from Obama.
"This is a burgeoning crisis for Obama that should shake his presidency to its core," said Tom Fitton, chief of the Judicial Watch organization today.
"The criminal complaint filed today indicates that Obama and his team knew about Blagojevich's efforts to sell Obama's Senate seat," he said.
"Did Obama report Blagojevich to investigators about any efforts to sell his Senate seat?" Fitton asked.
ABC's Jake Tapper also expressed concern over the same issue.
On his blog, he wrote that while appearances seem to indicate Obama "refused to go along with the 'pay to play'" Blagojevich plan, there were significant questions.
For example, he wondered "how Blagojevich knew that Mr. Obama was not willing to give him anything in exchange for the Senate seat with whom was Blagojevich speaking? Did that person report the governor to the authorities?"

...Puppets on the left, puppets on the right, one person sitting in darkness holding both puppets. Is that clear enough what I think about politics???
Obama is part of the Chicago mob machine. He knew everything and I’m sure was a part of everything.
Watching Fox yesterday I got the feeling I was watching an ad. You know the drill, at the end of the ad comes a procession of lawyer language, something like this:
In our discussion, any connection between the Sun God and Blagno is purely coincidental and no inference should be drawn to any real life person or event...We have never shown a connection between the two parties mentioned in this discussion other than some tangential inconsequential mentioning of a name we are not going to identify...
Now then, anyone notice that not one high ranking dummocrat has been seen on any Fox show in some time? Think there is a connection to Fox’s “go nice” strategy now?? In news, it is all about access, no access, no relevance.
I don’t know, why don’t you ask the Democrats? They should know first hand after 8 years of doing just that to “W”.
Good morning!
Looks like that article was pulled from the website link. Wonder why?
I only got to page 36 of the official complaint last night before I had to shut it down for the night, but one thing that is important to note is on page 5:
Sec.12 “Because this affidavit is submitted for the limited purpose of securing a criminal complaint and corresponding arrest warrants, I have not included each and every fact known to me concerning this investigation.”
The complaint also repeatedly says, “Rod Blagojevich, John Harris, AND OTHERS!
There is more to come and much of it goes back to the Rezko and Levine et al trial.
Thanks for the ping and sorry that the article would not come up on the link. It sounded like a must read.
I quickly sampled MSNBC and (at that moment) they are parodying ...as only the elitist can...Sarah Palin (yeah, that's news) and calling it 'Reflects on the race in rhyme'....
Daresay they wouldn't be wasting precious face time IF this were a Republican Governor up to his eyeballs in corruption.
I also caught them excusing Governor Blag...as in...
..'well if you had folks coming in wanting tax breaks so they could make their millions--(& you weren't)-- you might want a small piece of that pie too'....
..and so on and so forth.
Axelrod?
Axelrod from central casting?
That’s the extent of the “tip.”
Keep in mind ... this is close to the time that the Feds asked the Trib to hold the presses.
“The complaint also repeatedly says, Rod Blagojevich, John Harris, AND OTHERS!”

Yes. So What do you think about serving this serving this country in uniform as a combat Infantryman or Marine?
Would a freeper with the skills to save this photo without the link, please save it and freemail me the new link. This link will probably get scrubbed by the Obam0rat internet raiders.
The phrase "all enemies foreign and domestic" comes to mind. An elected official involved in corruption is no friend of the constitution.
Not a chance! It would be political suicide for the Democrats.
There was an attorney on Fox and Friends this morning(just caught the tail end of it) that said that no money had ever changed hands in relation to the ‘Senate Seat Sale’ and that Blago would probably get off on that charge!! He has done nothing wrong but run his big fat mouth! I almost spilled my coffee....lol.
But imagine for a minute if this is true. Why would Fitz fire his legal gun so soon without having the actual exchange of bling for Blago? Is it true that because no money had yet changed hands that Blago is not guilty of a crime?
I know the question was asked yesterday by a few folks(Rush being one)...but I heard no one mention the scenario where Blago gets off because no money actually changed hands for the Senate seat.
Could this be a throw away affidavit by Fitz to make the world think he is doing something ‘big’ on the case, but all the while he knows it will be thrown out of court, thus insuring his job under an Obama administration by putting the matter to bed once and for all? The mind races.....lol
They sold out Conservatives, hoping to become the new cnn... and instead of being the opposition’s truth teller... they are nothing... they lost me and millions like me.

“Agenda?” You mean, like upholding the rule of law?
Are you seriously suggesting that serious criminal activity be ignored because you don’t want to undermine military morale or resolve? Our troops are not fighting on behalf of a single man; they’re fighting for our country, our way of life, our constitution, our freedoms, all secured by the rule of law. We owe it to them to uphold it.
Another thing: Obama is not the Commander in Chief yet. Our troops and our country know damn well if their Commander in Chief is worthy of their loyalty—with or without an investigation. Troop morale and military resolve cannot be bought with a blind eye and coverups. They’re earned.
