Joe the Plumber: McCain 'appalled me'
Politico ^ | 12/9/08 | ANDY BARR

Joe Wurzelbacher lashed out at former GOP presidential nominee John McCain Tuesday, the man who made Wurzelbacher famous as “Joe the Plumber.”

Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt “dirty” after “being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place.”

McPain is appalling.

“Asked why he didn’t leave McCain’s campaign if he was “appalled” by the candidate, Wurzelbacher said, “honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.”

While Wurzelbacher was critical of McCain during the interview, he had nothing but praise for his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. “Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.”

That's why I voted for McPain - fear of the Obomination. I hope McPain READS this or HEARS of how appalling he is.

We all know who and what McCain is. Most of us voted for Palin.

What I want to know is what McCain said that was so appalling?

Doesn’t it suck that you felt obligated to vote for the least socialist candidate?

Yep, for me it was more about Sarah than McCain. How McCain got to be the nominee is still a mystery to me.

I purchased two copies of Joe’s book over a month ago. Will get it soon I guess if it is about to come out. Joe was great per usual on Glenn Beck this morning.

When members of the Republican party give up their conservative values it eventually comes back to bite them!

It has to take quite a bit for a plumber to feel dirty!

He’s right. My first reaction to McCain winning the FL primary was to stay home or even vote for Hillary. It was heartbreaking to vote for McCain after working for Tom Tancredo and Fred Thompson.

Months before McCain was one of the many that was seeking the nomination I had a conversation with a neighbor of mine.

He is an event planner and he had the same reaction about McCain. I guess McCain was upset over something at this event and really got in my neighbors face and was screaming at him....He was not too impressed with his behavior....

What I want to know is what McCain said that was so appalling?

Once again, from the article:

Recalling a conversation he had with McCain about the $700 billion financial industry bailout in September, Wurzelbacher said: “When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen.”

“I asked him some pretty direct questions,” he continued. “Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”

I guess the campaign rally with McCain asking...”Where’s Joe”....makes more sense now.
