Ever consider that he his doing it to simply wind his opponents up? Simply laughing at all those trying to prove he is not entitled to be President? I expect the last laugh will be with Obama when someone finally gets through the legal loops to view the certificate.

I have seen this idea expressed a few times here on FR, and as far as I'm concerned, this kind of thinking is exactly the wussy-ass, navel-gazing, defeatist kind of thinking that has been plaguing the Republicans, and conservatives, for some time now. The suggestion that Obama has spent almost a million dollars to avoid showing the birth certificate that would help clear up many glaring inconsistencies in his eligibility status just to play a joke on his opponents is absolutely ludicrous. It is akin to a boy on the playground saying "I'd like to stand up for myself, but what if that other kid turns out to have superpowers, or some form of mind control? I'll look stupid! I'd better go home and hide in my room, instead."

Perhaps he is constitutionally eligible and he merely wants to avoid showing something embarrassing on his birth certificate. That is possible. However, I hope you and your whiny, hand-wringing, I-don't-want-to-make-the-hippies-angry brethren don't mind if some people who actually give a damn about the US Constitution make at least a little effort to ensure that it is followed? Is that okay with you?

If that freaks you out, by all means feel free to leave FR. In fact, feel free to join the Democrats. They are always in the market for more gutless yes-men.
