Mumbai: At least 15 people have been injured in gunfights between two groups in at least three places in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Details are sketchy but it is believed that two gangs fired at each other at outside CST Railway Terminus, Hotel Oberoi and the popular Café Leopold restaurant in Mumbai.
The first shooting took place near the CST police station

I talked with my son about this today- as a combat soldier he and his comrades cleared buildings in Iraq constantly- he doesn’t get it either. He said the only things that make sense to him are- there are a lot more terrorists inside than anyone knows and they’re all over the place- they’ve booby-trapped the place- or- they don’t have ehough manpower to do the job effectively.
It’s odd, isn’t it?
The fires are out of control.
They are hesitant with using Armor in their own back yard after Operation Blue Star.
they need to make sure there are no hostages. I also would not be surprised if they have set explosives surrounding the rooms they were in, or throughout the hotel. It’s also a big building to try and clear.
I guess they just left it there which is ridiculous. Kind of a CYA thing.
My guess is that there are many guests still hiding in rooms. The terrorists are firing assault rifles that travel through walls. They apparently are moving slowly to keep gunfire to a minimum. We will no doubt find people shot hiding in closets and bathrooms by gun fire that came through a wall.
He is probably correct.
That is what Colson was just saying on H&C that there is no reason this has taken so long.

Anyone watching H&C they have live shots from the Taj, had a major fire going again, fire department trying to put it out, but they zoomed in on one section to the left of the fire as a body was dropped out a window.
was it a terrorist? NDTV said it was a commando.
Indian newslady said the section of the Taj on fire is the ballroom.
forget what I said. Timesnow is a reporting it was a terrorist as well.
Reporting that these terrorists were some of the most determined terrorists anyone has ever faced in the world. Highly trained, highly motivated and highly armed.
