That is not true. Chief Engineer (who just commented on the previous page of the thread) checked out the address.
Whoever checked out the address on the birth announcement might also be able to find out who the owner of record for the property was in 1961. Those records should be publically available through the county records in Hawaii. Here in Oregon they have them stored on microfiche. I would assume there is something similar used in Hawaii for those records.
