I simply meant that I find it hard to believe that such a lie could have been continued for 47 years without one person making a mistake or selling out for money, fame, etc.

Do you know how many people believe the Apostles of Christ were lying conspirators? No one ever came forth for money. Almost 2000 years and counting.
