NEW YORK - MSNBC was the victim of a hoax when it reported that an adviser to John McCain had identified himself as the source of an embarrassing story about former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the network said Wednesday.
David Shuster, an anchor for the cable news network, said on air Monday that Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, had come forth and identified himself as the source of a Fox News Channel story saying Palin had mistakenly believed Africa was a country instead of a continent.

I agree. I can’t stand any news stations anymore. Not even Fox. I’d much rather get my news here or from talk radio...at least for as long as we have it.

There’s only one reason I sometimes watch, so that when I’m out and about I know how to deride it mercilessly in public.
For instance, standing in line, within ear shot of everyone, while say I’m paying a grocery bill or whatnot, I’ll say something really REALLY loudly one day soon enough; one night after these idiots are carrying the messiah’s water again about some undelivered promise to the sheeple:
“the pie isn’t even in the oven”!
