The article was Townhall, btw.

Townhall is a publisher of opinion pieces. It is not a news source.

Get your facts straight.Mitt just didn't fight it, face it. Did you even set foot anywhere near the state of Massachusetts when it happened? Did you protest the statehouse? Do you know on a first-name basis the leadership of Massachusetts Citizens for Life and the other groups fighting gay marriage?

I thought not. You have no idea what you are talking about. I do because I WAS THERE.

If he did, he wouldn't have let that Christian Justice of the Peace lose her job when she opposed having to marry gays!

Lies.

It is very peculiar that no one is bringing up the polygamist who a few months ago went to court to legitimize his "marriages" because of all the gay marriages (that started in Mass.) LDS must have realized what a corner Mitt painted himself in.

Plus, backing anti gay marriage initiatives absolves LDS of their foundational problem that the "Mormon Fathers" that Mitt claims he follows, preached. And practiced. And practiced with the wives of other men.

Sigh. More Romney Derangement Syndrome induced paranoia. It would be funny if it were not so sad.

It is a sick and perverted thing for Smith and Young to have dared tempt a Holy God by calling polygamy "holy". 'Specially when you just stole your neighbor's wife.

So, roll this hot potato political issue up and -- voila! LDS pays for Prop 8 in California.

The LDS has opposed polygamy for over 100 years.

Mormon Party Machinery for Mitt at work.

More RDS paranoia.

We are not fooled. And of course, neither is God.

What is really sad is you are fooling yourself, and you do not even know it.

You are untruth about what happened.

It is reasonable to assume you are lying about the role of Utah in Massachusetts politics through the Carpetbagger Romneys.

Curiosity (lying again for Myth Romney): Romney (never) signed gay marriage.

The Massachusetts Constitution ... states: "The power of suspending the laws,
or (suspending) the execution of the laws, ought never to be exercised but by the legislature..."
but "Gov. Romney's legal counsel issued a directive to the Justices of the Peace
that they must perform same-sex marriages when requested
or 'face personal liability' or be fired".

And so, Mitt Romney (Democrat, Utah) urinated on the Massachusetts Constitution (the oldest in the US, perhaps)
and SCHEMED with his Utah pals to enforce an illegal and flawed Court decision.
Romney should --and could-- have done nothing.
But Romney is a coward except when he backstabbing women and children.
And so, instead of following the Constitution, venal backstabber Romney ignored the Constitution
and cowardly demanded that the Clerks obey the illegal order.

But for Romney, NOTHING would have happened.
Therefore, Romney must equally share responsibility with the
Mass. Court's Chief Justice (placed there by her husband on the New York Times through the Boston Globe),
but Romney always plays the poor Mormon 'victim'. It is his way.
Just as the way of Curiosity is to lie, and attack the poster without any basis, for his Master.

I’m sure you have read these by now:

“Almost every critical remark made about Palin
on a recent briefing call about her selection came from political consultants
with ties to Romney. Those comments were planted, says one,
because they knew that reporters would be on the call.”

[Washington Prowler, American Spectator, Storm Center, 9/2/2008]

This reminds Conservatives of Romney’s fake badges and attacks on Sen Thompson.

Novak: Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign

Said Novak: The rumors were “traced in part to Mitt Romney’s campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson.”

As for religion, as you claim not to be a Mormon or a believer in any way, there is no issue you can take with a Christian’s duty as spelled out in the Bible to defend the integrity of Scripture. This is the main issue with Romney.

Good luck. (I would say God Bless but I don’t think that applies.)
