Yes, it's over the top. How about NKVD, Cheka, Stasi? Not to worry, Hussein and Ayers will think of sneaking something that will appear perfectly reasonable and not seem "over the top", they are very smart that way.
All of those that you mention are essentially secret police forces, which will not be what they devise, its purpose is different. They know they can’t force their beliefs on society, but they get their by a different road, and a far more subtle one. Undoubtedly, what Obama and his fabian socialists are trying to do is to permanently alter the political trajectory and composition of the USA, by changing the mindest of people...breeding conservatism out of the populace by enlisting them in service to the nation within a managed ideological framework. This is what they do in college, in the public school systems, on television and in the movies. They present(often radical) world view and behavior as the norm, slowly inculcating people into accepting something that cannot be forced upon them. They are reeducating people in a subtle, but effective way. Think about the people who come out of the ‘Peace Corps’, now imagine creating something like that on a much larger, domestic basis. It worse than some police force that can be targeted and destroyed...they are changing people, and ultimately America, from within.
