I believe that the Annenberg forgery is the result of numerous critiques of the original forgeries, meaning with the exception of the telltale border which they could not correct without exposing their forgery had everything else corrected that had previously been pointed out.
The original forgeries were thrown out for us to pick apart until they fixed everything we complained about except for that unique border which they couldn’t and haven’t corrected.
The only relevant difference is that Annenberg image was a photograph of an original whereas the rest were scans or only electronic (never printed). The Annenberg image, however created, had to be printed, then embossed, then photographed. The person who photographed it would know where it came from and trusted that source.
That source would have to obtain a seal to perform the embossing and that is why the difference is important. To obtain and use a seal would be noticed by witnesses which so far have not appeared.
