I think you’re right. She was a big reason soft republicans bolted. Mac was suppose to play big in the suburbs but they thought she was a yahoo and voted against him. I thought originally her unfavorables were due to massive oversampling of democrats but from exit polling and the most accurate pollsters repeated that story. -------------------------------------------------------- You're exactly right. The lesson has been given to us for years now. But many Ostriches believe that it's more noble to continue to make the same mistakes rather than learn from them.

Perhaps you both could explain your own sociology in your comments.

Sarah caused soft republicans to bolt and thus the need to follow them? Yet then I hear those 'value' voters got turned off and stayed home after being Foloyized in 2006 and gave Congress to the democrats.

Now the blame is placed upon Ostriches because they cannot see the folly of their ways?

Why the double standard?

I second the motion.

What educationaal level have each of you attained; and what are your opinions on abortion, gay marriage, and evolution?

(Typical fracture points for some GOPers with Sarah...)

First, you're giving two statements that are not from the same source--I don't either of us made both of those statements.

Second, you're attributing two results that are not neessarily mutually exclusive (i.e., "value" voters can stay home from the same ticket that causes soft Republicans to bolt).
