Can we sue them for breach of contract?
Freep-mail me to get on or off my pro-life and Catholic List:

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
We can make them do this all over again, a super mulligan.
I found the REPUBLICAN CONTRACT WITH AMERICA in one of my books the other day. There is no leadership in this party and I believe the republican party is dead. Time for a diaper change a new party is paramount.
Unfortunately, I believe that was a once in a lifetime event that won’t ever be repeated. My fear is that the type of people going into congress today don’t have the same mentality that Gingrich and his people had. Those types don’t want to have any part of DC.
Remember James Rogan? Someone like him would be perfect but the Clintons did him in. And why? Because he was an honorable man and did his job to present the facts against that scumbag Billy the Rapist Clinton. Rogan is now a federal judge in Orange County California. He would have been perfect as the minority leader.
Sad to say but I believe the Pube party will always be in the minority.
>>>>Can we sue them for breach of contract?<<<<
No, that would be quite stupid.
You’d lose.

I think there are some good folks in congress. I was really proud of the stand some made in August when Pelosi refused to allow a vote on domestic energy production. I was also pleased with those who stood against the bailout. I think this might be a new beginning for the GOP.
Sure. WHo bells the cat? Who will lead it? What message? What money? What organization?
-Newt-like, but can keep his pants on
-Gov Palin-like but with more maturity
-Gov Palin-like that will take on the national-level GOP
-A 1994-like nationalized campaign plan for ALL open House and Senate seats in 2010
-A Republican version of Rahm Emanuel or Tom "The Hammer" Delay but more charismatic to ramrod Conservative issues
-A Reaganesque public orator/communicator
-A plan to descredit Barry without sounding wacko or shrill
Why do I seem to recall a pledge to move against abortion in this Contract of America, which McCain’s pal, then Senataor Freddie Dalton Thompon, later voted against?
“My fear is that the type of people going into congress today dont have the same mentality that Gingrich (did)”
As I said in another post...
Newt Gingrich is the reason we are in this mess. Thanks to Newt and the Contract Republicans, we had it all sewn up and we had Americans BELIEVING. Unfortunately, Newt couldn’t keep it in his pants long enough to become one of the greatest Statesmen in history. What we thought would destroy Clinton ultimately destroyed Newt.
We need to return to this contract, and we need to do this NOW.
We need to return to this contract, and we need to do this NOW.
Some is the key word a few is probably more like it.
True that Gingrich’s personal problems screwed him over but politically he did what he said he was going to do. Unfortunately, DC corrupts.
I seem to remember Newt and the Republican’s demise happening when The Bent one (with much media assistance) accused them of starving federal employees when they shut down the government.
Did I miss something? I thought Newt’s indiscretions were before this time?
This is what I am saying.
We need another Lee Atwater behind the scenes and Senator Sarah Palin running in 2012. And no more Rudy McRomney get along limp wristed RINO types.
