This thing is not over. If McCain carries VA and NC this thing will be close. OH was called too early and PA may have been also. This happened during the Primary, Missouri was called for Hillary, I watched it all night as Obama closed in and they refused to change their call. In the morning it had flipped to Obama. The media is using the early calls as a tactic. Don't let it work. If you have the ability, get out the vote. If we carry CO, NV and IA this can still happen. Stand up and Fight!!!
The media HAS screwed it up before, I pray that they have tonight, or that some miracle happens (like California suddenly becomes human) but it doesn’t look good. I was convinced that if Obama won, it was because God needed him there for a reason...this is not good for the U.S., maybe it is supposed to be this way, God help us. He never takes you to something that he won’t pull you through. Anything bad happens to anyone in this country due to terrorism and ALL that voted for Hussein will have blood on their hands.
I agree. I think they called Georgia too early. I’m not saying it will change but it could. If I lived on the West coast I think I would be influenced by the news reports. If I was tired and wanted to get home I’d say oh the heck with it my guy is behind so my vote won’t matter.
Life goes on, and god willing I will be in hunting in the woods on Saturday.
“Get lost. I guess you never got the message that FR is McCain/Palin territory”
Calls for banning? You’re making it sound like Obama territory. Everyone needs to calm down.
Lost another seat, Chris Shays lost. People in this country are so stupid, blind and stupid.
We’ll see about that pal. You picked the wrong night.
Noticed that too, didja? With 1.5% of the precints reporting they are calling states. The sad part is that a number of people here are throwing in the towel.
Yep.
Whatever. Either your with us, or you’re not. Which is it AuntB?
McCain hasn’t conceded yet, so it’s not over technically. He should wait until all the votes are in, but it’s probably a formality at this point.
bump
they called iowa within 5 mins of polls closing. Only 5 of 1774 precincts reported....
I have not given up hope but it looks very grim at the moment. I did not believe (or want to believe) the polls but these are actual numbers coming in now.
This election is an absolute victory for the progressive movement. Many will blame Bush (he sure did not help) but the seed for this tree was planted even before his father was V.P.
I am overwhelmingly sad for my children right now. When our nation turns it face from God and self-determination and looks instead towards government and collectivism it will die. You be the judge on what this will mean.
Calling McCain a socialist just further marginalizes your opinion.
Does anyone know of a picture hosting site so I can post pictures here?
bttt
Stand up and FIGHT! Amen!
God does not call us to defeat, but to VICTORY. In Jesus' Holy Name, we will not cease in praying to You and thanking You for all of our blessings. You hold each of us in Your mighty hand. We ask You to have mercy on us, forgive us for our trespasses--which are many, Lord, we know--and bring us out of this night with a joyful noise. In the name of Our Risen King, Amen.
For sure...who is telling us who one? The same people who fed us all the stuff about how Obama was great, etc. Remember...the MEDIA. I choose to sit and wait. And if Obama does win, I will be the first person to have a “Don’t blame, I voted for McCain” bumper sticker
