That place is no barometer of this election or any others. Very Unreliable. I remember in 1992 it went for Bush.

I was thinking about Dixville Notch all day. They are frequently the predictor of the outcome. Pray for our country.

AP is reporting their exit polling results already!
Obama: 20000000000000000 X Double Infinity
McCain: -Q

Actually it hasn’t been a good predictor.. It has gone Repubican every year since 1972.

Dixville Notch is not the most accurate poll (they got 7 of the last 12 elections right) but they sure are fun. Right now, they are munching on coffee cake, plain donuts and apple pie while sipping mulled apple cider and English breakfast tea.
Within the next 2 hours, they will shuffle into the voting place to cast their votes. My prediction is that 13 of them will vote for McCain/Palin and the other 7 for Obama/Hiding Biden.

If you need a bellweather community in New Hampshire to watch I would suggest Hill, NH. Been correct since the 40’s.

Here’s hoping the Dixville Notch’s 0bama-McCain vote count mirrors the 0akland-Atlanta scoreboard.

This feels like me waiting for the Super Bowl back in February...except if our team loses, the country is utterly doomed. Stakes are just a smidge higher tomorrow.

It DOES! It’s like Christmas Eve for grownups - but the same feeling of excitement and anticipation as when we were little.

I remember during the NH primary, Dixville Notch, voted overwhelmingly voted for Obama over Hillary. Then the next day, Hillary shocked the world by beating Obama in NH.

Makes you wonder how Clinton could never carry a town with the words “Dixville” and “Notch.”

Hillary shocked the world by beating Obama in NH. Maybe McCain can summon some crocodile tears, tell the voters how hard campaigning is, then get a ton of people who "intend to live in NH in the future" to vote.
