The 2nd Amendment is the only amendment that inherently protects itself.
Even those of us who don’t own guns (and don’t care to) realize that the gov’t that wants to take away your final course of self-preservation is the gov’t that wants you dead.
In other words, let ‘em try.
Just as Thomas Jefferson said: “The Second Amendment is for when they try to take it away.”
