Let me comment here with an important aspect. I heard liberals defending Obama's positiion by saying he does support Clean Coal (which I doubt) but even so, it doesn't mitigate the fact that he will tax into bankruptcy coal producing power plants BECAUSE clean coal technologies deals with Sulfur in the Coal emmisions (you remember the alarm over acid rain). Clean coal technologies will not reduce carbon emmisions (which is not a polutant) and his tax is as he says himself the most aggressive "CARBON cap and trade" proposal out there and he will penalize EVERY unit of Carbon emissions resulting in Bankruptcy for the Coal plants and Skyrocketing Electric prices (his words not mine) For more information visit nextstoplauderdale.com

Exactly correct. Obama is depending on people not knowing what clean coal technology is all about — it reduces CO2 not at all. What his policies WILL do is drastically increased the cost of electricity, which will, among other things, reduce the practicality and acceptance of electric cars by the public! And, any tax reductions for average people (which I think as as likely as the tax cuts Bill Clinton promised) will be totally wiped out, and then some, by taxpayers’ increased utility / energy bills.

OOPS - I was so mad I didn’t proofread. That should say:

You forgot one thing. In the audio being talked about he plainly says if it is a choice between bankrupting coal plants or producing clean coal, he will bankrupt coal plants. He simply wants to do away with coal, period. The very last sentence, listen carefully to the phrasing of the sentence and it is there.
