You forgot one thing. In the audio being talked about he plainly says if it is a choice between bankrupting coal plants or producing clean coal, he will bankrupt coal plants.He simply wants to do away with coal, period. The very last sentence, listen carefully to the phrasing of the sentence and it is there.

But clean coal and Carbon credits deal with two separate things. His tax on Carbon emissions is not mitigated by Clean Coal Scrubbing (Of Sulfur). I agree that he is a wolf in sheep's clothing on both Clean Coal and Safe Nuclear. He can run being in favor to get votes and then set an unreasonably high threshold to approve it, knowing that Americans will not pick up on that nuance and the press will not challenge him and the Right Wingers that do will be people that don't care about the environment or Global Warming (which is a canard)
