I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It is a mistake to assume the youth vote is heavily democrat anymore. The youth are much more split today. The Republican College crowd is growing all the time. It’s not the 1960s anymore.

Very true. I’m in my late 20s and very conservative. As are most of my friends. I’ve actually been surprised to find out how many of my peers are voting for McCain (much has to do with Palin.) Granted, we are in the south, but I just don’t believe that all younger voters are Dems.
