Phillip Berg was on Michael Savage yesterday and it should be noted that he is a lifelong Democrat and a former Pennsylvania State Deputy Attorney General.

I believe legally it will be too late...but it may well be soon enough to make a difference with voters if it gts out.

This is just noise.
No judge in his right mind,(granting that more than a few are definately of unsound mind and judgement), would or should touch this less than two weeks before the election.
It may well have legal standing and it may well be that zero does not have the legitimate right to stand for president,
BBUUUTTTT...

Do you really want to throw gasoline on a fire?

Obama was a minor and was he Indonesia between the ages of 6 to 10. There is no way he could renounce his citizenship.

If I was his advisor, I would tell him to for go it and stay in the race. I doubt anyone other than SCOTUS is going to stop him at this point.

Working in the Embassy, having access to stationary, do you think Ann Dunham could have a forged a citizenship renunciation document to fool the Indonesian school?

I think that the other certification issue is with his law license in Illinois. What questions on that application did he answer honestly? It seems doubtful that he would have answered some of the questions honestly without his application being examined further than most applications would be.

I agree that will probably be the case. Watch a huge team of lawyers to be waiting in the wings Jan 6th, 2009.

Yes, you can lose US citizenship.

You can, but not as a minor. Nor can your parents sign away your citizenship on your behalf. You have appear in front of a US consular officer as an adult and swear that you intend to renounce your citizenship.

I agree Jeff. I think that the early release of information would only serve to spook the middle “20” away from Hussein.

I would prefer to have the election go to McCain. There would therefore be no Constitutional crisis. Then, this issue can be resolved legally. If Hussein is what I think he is, he will be striped of his Senate seat and put on the next cattle boat to Indoeasia.

Have you read the "Obama Timeline"?

A very plausible theory in there.

If Obama was born in Hawaii, he's all set.

Not if he lost his citizenship. The requirement is that you have to be NOW, not have been at some time, a natural born citizen.

I am not saying he isn't, don't misunderstand, I am just commenting on your point...

It does matter where he was born if only one of his parents was an American citizen. This would obviate jus sanguinis and the law at the time, i.e., 1961. His mother was only 18 and not present in the US for five years after the age of 14.

Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock: A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) INA provided the citizen parent was physically present in the U.S. for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child's birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen are required for physical presence in the U.S. to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child. .

Unless the mother of all wag the dogs intercedes (per Biden) and the country is in desperate need of "an undistracted leader" who was chosen and loved by the People.

I am bookmarking this for every time someone says “Barack’s mother was a US Citizen. Case closed” or something similiar.

I also want to know if there were segregated hospitals in Hawaii in 1961. It would seem someone would remember a white woman in the “black” maternity ward.

I just don’t know how Hawaii handled that back then.

How would Obama have “lost” his citizenship?
