Based on headline alone ... BAD IDEA.

Ridge is not on my radar for anything.

Yep, it would be real different. McCain would be behind wayyyyy more than he is.

DELUSIONAL has-been. If you want to help Tom run for Senator and beat the empty-headed Bob Casey.

He was my governor and people were mad that he left the governorship. We went democrat because of that. I just don’t think he was all the popular.

Wow. This guy’s a weasel. The race isn’t over, he’s a co-chair of the campaign and he’s telling the press that McCain lost for not picking him as a running mate.

More and more I think there needs to be a serious purge of the GOP.

I’ve always thought that Ridge was a jerk, but now he gives me irrefutable proof that he is.

Pennsylvania would have been the only state carried.

Ridge may have carried Pennsylvania, but how many other states will Palin carry by energizing the base in ways Ridge couldn’t dream of?

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge said today that John McCain can't become president without carrying Pennsylvania and that the race would be different if McCain had chosen him as his running mate.

Yeah, we'd be something like 40 pts. down...

OMG! If we could only buy him for his real worth and sell him for his self-inflated value!

Ridge is a good conservative, got elected in a dem state, but the only mark against him was he supported Specter not Toomey for senate.

Yeah, the race would be different. McCain/Ridge might have done better in PA.

But, without Sarah Palin the base would stay home or vote 3rd party and McCain would lose FL, NC, OH & MO to start. Ridge wasn’t even the 2nd best choice. That would be Romney.

I voted for the independent when Ridge ran for governor. Evidently his votes on guns was not up to par according to hubby.

I would NOT have voted with abortionist Ridge on the ticket. McCain made a wise choice by picking Sarah.
