ABSOL-FRIGGING-LUTELY- There’s a clever guy. That’s precisely how you handle the comrades from Pravda. Look, I’m a reasonable guy, but mama didn’t raise dummies. The media is NO where fair. Treat these reporters that way. Over 1000 Google hits on this dress crap- and nothing on the serious issues that you all know about.

Dallas Morning News carried a wire report on this non-story... and stated something about the investigation couldn't find where the DNC paid for any wardrobe for Mr. &/or Mrs. O... I promise you they have paid tons of coinage for Mrs. O to be best dressed (why do you think she's on the cover of all those glossy magazines)... the Obamas are not spending one dime of their own money to make the Mrs. look "good."
If the press is going to do a hit piece on Gov. Palin... they should do a much better job of turning over rocks to find how much the DNC has paid out.
Another thing... the Obamas are multi-millionaries... I don't know how much money the Palins have, but I guarantee it is no where near the Obama's net worth.

What the socialists hate about this is that people in stores have jobs because the RNC bought stuff.

Double standard, yes, but its still a lot of money. When you get chosen for VP, you don't buy your wardrobes at Wal-Mart.

I would have been thrilled if she got her clothes from Wal-Mart. Millions of us do.

Let me just say that I thought it was honorable for the RNC to buy the clothes rather than get them for free as the Dems do.

Who the F is buying Barack’s wardrobe? Who’s paying for room service at the Waldorf? Hell, who’s paying for rooms at the Waldorf?
My wife and I contributed half a grand to McCain’s campaign. My wife remarked that she hoped some of our $ went to buy Governor Palin some shoes. I concurred.
Isn’t it amazing how Joe Biden, the “poorest member of the Senate” somehow has a full on wardrobe?
I think it says plenty that Gov. Palin hadn’t enriched herself such that she had a closet full of designer clothes. The media seems to be missing the point that she did not. I don’t think it’s much of a surprise that a candidate for national office would require a new wardrobe. Hell, Hillary got her designer clothes for free.
What a nothing issue.

Look bucko, I said it was a double standard.
However, lots of folks on mainstreet will see such spending as elitism. The same elitism the McCain-Palin ticket is trying to label Obama-Biden with.
Take your blinders off.
