Those of you with your thinking caps on must be correct - the perp would’ve been standing over her.
I’m borderline violently upset about this. Yet some of you are right in saying judgment should be prudent and we should make sure we’re not being duped here. An arrest or police identification of the suspect would seal the deal for me. IF this is on the level (90% positive right now) and we have the usual race-card dealers attacking HER or excusing violence, yet saying EVERYTHING we do is racist, I’m going to have to call out sick from work. I will simply be dangerous to those around me at that point.
I hate this - I want to be the polite ‘square’ white guy that all the television commercials make fun of. I want to happily raise a family and work hard and give half my reward for this to the state and its’ wards. I want to hold fashionable views I don’t really believe, but will sing along with because I secretly feel all guilty inside. But I can’t do that if my hard work, my compassion, my utter decency is met with hatred and violence. That’s too damned much to ask.
I have not read any posts yet. Here is my two cents FWIW, this is the most hateful campaign I and my friends have ever seen. Sure the Obama campaign has nothing to do with this but at what point do the majority of Americans say enough and vote McCain. What do we want, 4 years of an Obama presidency where if you criticize the “One” you face ridicule, bullying, or possibly an assault.
End the madness people.
I’ve been doing a little googling about the young lady. She’s been a very involved Republican campus activist since her days in high school. She’s been involved in getting out the vote efforts in NY for a few months now. There are a few youtubes she put up in September to help other young people learn how to make posters, register voters, etc. After watching those, I’d say she sounds quite bright, articulate, enthusiastic and sincere.
I was thinking about why she may have refused medical treatment, because that bothered me initially too. I believe were I her, after watching the recent ravaging of Joe the Plumber, I might very likely choose to avoid any and all media scrutiny. I noticed she locked up her “twitter” blog right after someone here posted the link. Unfortunately, she has a pretty active internet presence and there’s stuff about her all over the place. She’s going to be in for a VERY bumpy time in the coming weeks. If I were her parent, I think I’d be looking to get her out of the country until after the election. It’s so fricking sad to have been given so many reasons to think that way by the MSM and KOS-type Obamanuts!
