I generally like Savage but he totally missed that Fannie & Freddie were the lynch pin for bringing down the financial markets.
He missed what I thought was the deeper story that the people at Lehman were played by short hedge funds. Lehman was clueless. He realized the bailout has some people getting rich off the disaster. He missed the Sandlers-Wachovia-Wells Fargo-Buffet situation where lefties made billions off this mess.
How do you KNOW there is nothing to it? Why hasn’t he produced the proof instead of behaving as if he is guilty by holding out? He hasn’t even made a peep about it on the campaign trail as far as I know, If he brings it up people will ask questions that he does not want to answer.
If there’s nothing to it why hasn’t he simply ended the speculation by producing whatever it takes to clear it up?
I thought so too... until Obama's attorneys started using procedural moves, rather than simply showing the proper papers. One does not pay several hundred dollars per hour each for a team of attorneys to file challenges to standing, if one can simply show a single piece of paper to make a case disappear.
Secondly, Obama's own book raises a second huge questions based on his citizenship. He wrote that he went to Pakistan in 1981. Pakistan did not accept US passports (other than for diplomatic missions) in 1981. Either he lied in his own book, bribed border guards, used a foreign passport illegitimately, or used a foreign passport legitimately. Any one of those possibilities discredits the man in differing amounts... and if he was using a legit foreign passport after the age of 18, then what is his actual citizenship status? These are valid questions to ask.
The birth certificate is bogus, but the loony tunes are all on the Left.
The only thing loony is that he refuses to show it or his school records.
