I think Biden and Obama saw the threat assessment and Intel Briefing over the weekend and it must have scared the hell out of Biden.

I do believe that the stuff is going to hit the fan somewhere here in the U.S. while Shelly and Barry are putting up the drapes in the White House. The Islamofascists are going to want to remind us that they are still the boss as a soon as they can.

While Kennedy is fondly remembered today, it should be noted that during his presidency, America came closer than we have ever come to nuclear war.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Kennedy, the U.S. and the world came very close to an all out nuclear war. The larger fact remains, no nuclear war occurred. That is a good thing.

I said years ago that if the Democrats get into office, we’ll enter the high-intensity war-to-come late and draft an enormous army. The way things are going, that will happen whether the Democrats get into office or not. But the Democrats would give you even more socialism, if the deficit weren’t so high.

Big difference between Obama and Kennedy … Kennedy was a vet. He understood things military, he knew what it would take to make Khrushchev back down over the Cuban crises. Obama has no history with things military … how will he respond; from whence will he garner his military wisdom.

They size-up their adversaries, and determine whether or not they can take the next step. In this instance, Kennedy's perceived weakness and inexperience emboldened Khruschev.

And murdering ME terrorist would not see a female in the Oval Office as a weakness?

Is the author is suggesting someone one heartbeat away from the presidency, who has no combat experience, no military experience, would be a better fit? Kennedy was at least a combat military veteran. Does the author have any idea what Mid Eastern men think of women?

Kennedy made mistakes, as did Eisenhower, and the CIA, but the fact remains, after the events of '62, there were no Soviet nuclear missiles sitting on top of Miami, and most of the U.S. and the world was not a dead smoldering cinder.

I believe Obama is a lying AH. However comparing, Kennedy, a military combat veteran to Obama is really a stupid misguided analogy.

//////Scared yet?//////

Of course not

With barack’s multi tasking skills, I’m sure he’ll want to review the US Park Service budget in the midst of the next Cuban missile crisis.

My tinfoil hat nightmare:

Obama is elected. Israel attacks Iran because it can't wait until Obama is inaugurated. Bush escalates the situation to WWIII levels and then hands it over to Obama and heads for Texas.

Obama is faced with supporting Israel and enraging islam or making good on his (and Jesse Jackson's) promise to side with islam and put the Zionists in their place. That's why Biden said we will have to”comfort and support” Obama as he struggles.

IMHO we cannot afford to take the risk that some drastic event happens and thousands of lives lost just to”test” Obama. This is getting crazy.

It is pretty obvious from all of the illegal foreign contributions pouring into Obama’s coffers that they are HOPING he'll win. They LIKE a weak president. Remember what the mullahs did to Jimma Catha?

"As Kennedy later confessed to Reston, his superpower rival had no doubt concluded that "I'm inexperienced. Probably thinks I'm stupid. Maybe most important, he thinks I have no guts."

Ahmadinejad has already reached these conclusions about Obama. If Barack wins, shortly after he takes office Iran will claim to have nuclear weapons capability. Obama will agree to meet with him and will grant them much of what they demand in exchange for agreeing to not sell or even test the weapons or attack any other countries. It will never be conclusively verified that they have nuclear weapons and no live nuclear tests will be demonstrated. Iran will be considered a nuclear power and will be able to dominate the Middle East while we will be required to pull all troops out of the region. Barack will comply as he had intended to do that all along and he will claim we have achieved an agreement with Iran that Bush failed to even attempt.

Within months of our complete withdrawal, Iraq will be toppled and Israel threatened sending oil prices skyrocketing. The economy that appeared to be on the road to recovery will crash even harder because of energy rationing and newly implemented carbon controls.

Al Qaeda begins to poke and prod at the US and our allies causing further chaos and instability. Afghanistan and Pakistan heat up into a full scale war with large numbers of troops being moved into the region.

Four years of Obama with a compliant Congress and a supportive media who dare not criticize him could be a long, long time.

And while Kennedy's inexperience fortunately did not result in a nuclear war, it did lead us to the brink of nuclear war

In addition, this comment is really stupid. Kennedy did not tell the Soviets to install nuclear weapons in Cuba. He was faced with this threat *after* they were discovered. Kennedy was the President that oversaw the removal of those weapons.

The fact is, we can all thank God the Soviets did not believe Kennedy was weak and just playing tough. If that were the case, there would be damn good chance that both of us would not be alive.

It's time for the 527s to get in gear and make a TV ad like the Johnson ( Nuclear/Daisy TV ) 1964 ad... with Joe Biden's own words in the background.. while showing graphics of the dangers the USA faces ... and at the end... these words...

After hearing Joe Biden's own words.... Barack Obama.... even his very own VP running mate doubts his ability, judgment, and readiness to be President of the USA.... can we really trust Obama with the most important office in the world if Biden doubts him ?

I’m expecting an incompetent Jimmie Carter type administration.

Carteresque domestic and complete foreign capitulation.

Oh, with a little fascist leanings (’fairness doctrine’ in particular)

I read this as “Biden has absolutely NO confidence in Obama’s ability to project America’s strength to the world”.

Kennedy’s heart was in the right place but the truth is that his foreign policy was not as strong or deft as those of us who were young at the time hoped and believed and his tax policies turned out to be far better than we understood at first.

Obama models himself on the JFK image but it is not at all clear that his heart is in the right place. JFK’s background and the beliefs and associations of his youth and formative years were the opposite of Obama’s.
