Not debate related. San Diego is beautiful! We live just north of LA and we only have a fly problem a few weeks of the year. The last few weeks have been those weeks. We also rarely have many mosquitoes. Very expensive but very livable in regards to garden pests!

Flies and mosquitoes have been numerous here in No.Orange County. I have not seen anything like it here since we bought our home in 1989.
This past two weeks tiny little brown birds have inhabited our ficus tree and though cute are wreaking havoc on the patio furniture and fountain my husband built... LOL... I told him so.. Ha... I wanted something easier to keep clean... he wanted waterfalls. So now he has waterfalls with ficus leaves and little birdie excretions.
