Do we have to pay the whole 700 - 812 billion or do we just have to show up with 10%?

I get carbon buildup in my engine...will that be taxed? How about my number 2 pencils? The CO2 propellent in spray cans that replaced the hydroflorcarbons? All taxed? They need to impose a tax on all plants that feed on CO2.

If we could just harness Congress’ hot air, we’d have complete energy independence.

They should have passed the first version, but people were screaming at them based on media created hysteria and their own misconceptions.

In the Senate, they don’t call that crap.
They call it sweeteners.
And it’s why they got 75 votes.

House passes bailout bill, with Carbon Tax credits and an entire buffet of pork attached. I know why Obama, Lieberman, Biden, and the rest of the Democrats in both houses of Congress voted for this.
And I know why Bush signed the bill. Hell, this whole "bailout" idea originated from Paulson, Bernanke, and Bush in the executive branch.
Now the big questions are: Why did McCain and the rest of the Republicans vote for this, and why should conservatives still vote for them, in light of this complete failure on their part to resist the advancement of Government at the expense of individual Americans and their families?

Why to vote for McCain? That sir is a very good question. And I am afraid one that you must answer for yourself.
I can list many reasons I could not vote for McCain.
But the reasons I have to vote McCain/Palin are few and simple, so here they are:
1. To have half a chance to save the Republic and avert civil war.
2. To have Sarah next in line so she can run in 2012.
There isn’t much I like about McCain, but he loves or country and from that point we can move him.
Obama hates America as much as he hates the part of him that is white.
God save our republic.
