Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.
Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.

That’s a really well-done and devastating piece of investigative journalism. And the fact that the videos were taken down within an hour of the original post (in the middle of the night) pretty much clinches that these guys were right on target.
As they’ve noted, some guys at a PR firm that wasn’t named in the teaser wouldn’t be refreshing their site all night to see if this would come out. It seems obvious that someone higher up, more closely tied with the Obama campaign, was the one who sent out the word to delete everything.
It’s never the original crime, it’s always the cover-up that gets ‘em.
I’ve seen this before. It starts with a video on the DU which they get from moveon or dkos and then they get together and send it to Martin from CNN. I saw it with a Wright tape where they said it was out of context and within hours Martin was sprouting it on CNN.
