Negative on Caroline. NY resident. Pick is made by Legistature (the most corrupt in the nation).Maybe the wife but I doubt it. There are no more Kennedys in politics in MA.
I think Ted’s wife is the likely replacement, but Caroline does own property in MA. She inherited Jackie’s house on Martha’s Vineyard, so claiming residency would not be a problem.
