Democrats offer new offshore drilling plan (Pelosi and other Rats trying to bamboozle Americans)

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats offered a broader drilling proposal Wednesday that would allow offshore energy development beyond 50 miles from the coast if a state gives the go-ahead and opens all federal waters 100 miles from land.

Yep! On Oct. 1st the current ban expires and it all becomes open. Pelosi holds no winning cards and the GOP should know it.

If I could ask Obama one question, it would be, “Given that Pelosi is an investor in Picken’s new energy company, and given that high oil prices will increase the value of Picken’s company, do you see her position as Speaker of the House as a conflict of interest to the American people?”

These idiots in DC are costing many jobs when they refuse to address the domestic oil issue. A local factory is closing its doors here in JC and undoubtedly the liberals will try to blame the economy & President Bush instead of their man-made petroleum shortage. McCain and Palin need to start driving this point home that the Democrat's policies are not only costing the taxpayers via higher fuel costs but also by costing us good paying jobs. In other words, the dems want to up the cost of gas and oil to we the consumers.
