If you were around me for a day or two without a shower, you'd be the one bitching. It is not unreasonable to think that shower facilities should be part of the logistical planning for an evacuation.

Something I learned in the early days here in the war zone, when things were quite...shall we say...rustic...

Baby Wipes and deodorant will get you through a couple of days.

A natural sponge is the best thing going when you want to wash up in a rustic area. They hold lots of water for rinsing.
A Chamois also works well for washing and drying.
