It’s great judgement by McCain that had the courage to give Gov. Palin the opportunity to shine even withstanding the intense scrutiny of both parties

I was happily surprised that he would be willing to pick someone that would be more popular than himself. Time will tell now if he picked her just to get our votes or really is making a statement.

I’m just not surprised. Country First. I am just so darn proud of McCain. Even yesterday they were showing McCain and his wife at a small gathering without Gov. Palin. In the background was a black man holding up an Obama T-shirt and screaming over McCain...interupting him. McCain just smiled and kept talking...and the announcer (forgot who it was) mentioned that this is why he needs Sarah Palin on the trail. IF she had been there with McCain they would have been yelling her name....and NOT (probably) yelling Obamas. So, today it was written in the news that McCain will be campaigning more together and not so much apart. Good idea...
