Y’know, I was flipping around the radio dial to listen to some of the convention speeches enroute from Baltimore to Delaware. I ran across this thing called Pacifica radio.
Ever heard them? They make Air America sound patriotic.
The commentator during Romney’s speech remarked on the Reifensthal quality of the convention hall. The commentator panel smirked that Romney wasn’t chosen because he owns 4 houses and McCain owns 8-10 houses and it just wouldn’t do to have a ticket that has two people who own as many as 20 houses...
Today, they were saying people in Minneapolis were decrying all the police in riot gear and the Police State that had invaded their city. Those same people never appear to draw the conclusion as to why riot gear and lots of police are necessary.

Pacifica Radio is a non-commercial network of five "progressive" FM radio stations. Two of these stations are in California: KPFA 94.1 in Berkeley and KPFK 90.7 in Los Angeles. The other three are KPFT 90.1 in Houston, WBAI 99.5 in New York City, and WPFW 89.3 in Washington, DC. This network is owned and operated by the Pacifica Radio Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity. At least some Pacifica programs also air on approximately 48 "Affiliate" and "Associate" stations in the United States.
