You are right they have no oil but they do control the flow of oil through their country. That pipe line will be the only line that flows the Russians do not control heading to the EU.

You forgot that both Kuwait and Iraq had plenty of oil. Georgia - nada. Only that lunatic president of theirs. No, I didn't forget that. They both still do have plenty of oil. That doesn't take away from the fact that redrawn boundaries after WWI is pretty much the same excuse Saddam used.
And Georgia has a pipeline. Wouldn't exactly call that "nada."
