Damage??? What damage? This should only serve to improve his standing in the party.
In fact, maybe Hillary won't be the only one whose name is placed in nomination at The RAT Party Convention.

As I said before, the liberal MSM is a syndicate that will stop at nothing to protect “the family”.

Edwards indicated during his interview with ABC News' Bob Woodruff that he had not yet decided whether he would still like to be part of the convention and the Obama campaign. Of course this ego maniac wants to be a part of the convention. Even though he's so "stripped bare". (rolls eyes)

There will be more to come, I think. Edwards has done just enough to stave off the hyenas for now.
I can’t believe he said, “he didn’t love her” -as if that was a positive thing. So he just used her for sex?
If the affair was over, what was he doing with her last month and according to the NE guy talking to Hannity, even the month before that.
He’s still lying.

Democrats are calling on Obama to announce immediately that Edwards will not have any role at the Democratic National Convention. Can't they make him an honorary Baby Daddy or something?

It’s crazy. Edwards said that :
1. He admitted the affair but said he wasn’t the father of the baby. So it’s not so bad because at least he didn’t father an out of wedlock baby.
2. He admitted the affair but said that he didn’t love the girl. So it’s not so bad because he really loves his wife and not another woman. And apparently it’s ok to just have sex; it didn’t violate the marriage vows because he really loves his wife and only his wife.
3. He admitted the affair but said his wife was in remission from her cancer at the time. So it’s not so bad because it’s not like he left his sick wife when she needed him to hook up with this other woman. He did it when Elizabeth was ok.
You have to really really take a deep breath and think about all these qualifiers that are supposed to make Edwards look better with all this coming out.

CNN was in a funereal mood at the news, but they were adamant that this would in NO WAY hurt the Democrat party. Funny how Mark Foley’s text message to a page and Larry Craig’s toe-tapping in a bathroom stall was enough to bring down the Republican party. I’m sure they would insist that there is no double standard in the msm in the matter of sexual sins.
By the way, if Edwards was only fornicating with this woman for “a short time” in 2006, what was he doing in her hotel room for five hours in the middle of the night last month? Inquiring minds do want to know....
