A court document says one phone number used to report alleged abuse at a polygamist retreat in Texas had been used previously by a 33-year-old Colorado woman.
It's not yet clear whether authorities suspect Rozita Swinton of Colorado Springs made any of the calls that triggered this month's raid of the compound.
An arrest warrant affidavit made public Wednesday says a phone number she had used previously was used for a call to a Texas crisis center before authorities conducted the raid and removed more than 400 children. Swinton's whereabouts are unknown.
Authorities have said a 16-year-old girl called a crisis center claiming she was abused at the compound. Authorities have not found that girl but say they have found evidence other children were abused.
I might be wrong in this case, but I haven’t been wrong the 15+ times I’ve explained it in the last week. :)
That was the idea, it filled preconceived ideas. Both Ruby Ridge and Waco could have been solved by the Sheriff having a little talk with the people involved.
LOL! Actually, I was thinking more of another couple of threads. :)
If you can read and have the time go ahead and search the archives here. Do a search under FLDS or Polygamy and then read the articles and the posts by freepers and you decide whether or not every single “mormon” sect has been, in one way or another, been mentioned or lumped in with the FLDS people. If you can’t see it then a hyperlink won’t help either!
That’s why the Social Services branch is such bull$h!*. because when asked who or where the accuser is then they simply hide behind “ well, we are the accusers now.”
This blog contains incorrect information regarding charges against Rozita Swenson.
Are you responsible for the blog? Have you found this young woman guilty before she has been charged, arrested, or convicted?
Why shouldn’t she get the same due process as the fLDS members?
It’s curious. I certainly hope race has nothing to do with thim.

Imho, both were mishandled, and people died. In this case, although there were far more people involved, to my knowledge no one was killed or even injured.
I was villified by a anti Mormon zealot...
Join the crowd,
consider the source,
don’t take it personal,
patiently wait for the results,
be prepared to say you were wrong,
but don’t expect the herd of zealots to ever, admit to anything but righteous indignation.
Yet the article in the OP says this:
It's not yet clear whether authorities suspect Rozita Swinton of Colorado Springs made any of the calls that triggered this month's raid of the compound.
And another article linked on this page has this to say:
The arrest affadavit details how the investigation in Texas led authorities to Swinton. She has not been charged in connection with the Texas case.
Swinton was arrested April 16 at her Colorado Springs home on suspicion of false reporting to authorities in connection with similar claims made in February.
This BS story and that BS question has been answered several times.
The answer is no! do a search
It just does not fit the agenda of some posters to know the facts.
Nope.
Have you found this young woman guilty before she has been charged, arrested, or convicted?
Nope.
Why shouldn't she get the same due process as the fLDS members?
Did I say differently?
It's curious. I certainly hope race has nothing to do with this.
Yes it does, I am NA and hate all of y'all. /sarc
I have never been accused of so many things in one post before. Especially interesting since I posted no opinion of my own. I don't know why you are being so insulting, but I suggest you back away from the keyboard and take a break.
I’m waiting for the affadavit.
Of course, the affadavit doesn’t even seem to be for this case, so I am skeptical that it would even mention this case.
” The affidavit released Wednesday was filed in court in connection with the February incident.
Swinton has not been arrested or charged in connection with he calls made to the Texas crisis center, but authorities have called her a “person of interest” in that case. Two Texas Rangers were with Colorado officials when they searched Swinton’s home.”
But the Problem with this case is, if it was initiated from "False Swearing on a Warrant". this seemed to be a problem at both Ruby Ridge and WACO.
Except people at some of the other cult locations say they know the girl, and know who she’s “married” to, and it isn’t that Dale Barlow, but another man with a similar name.
I don’t really know.
I know they have a girl they think fits all the criteria, and the cult members have acted very weird about her attorney situation.
You said you didn't write the article, so I guess you weren't responsible for the inaccuracies, nor the suspected racism.
You will be responsible however, for repeating the lie contained in this article should your continue to post it, while knowing it is inaccurate.
It seems you have your undies in a bunch, and perhaps need your medication adjusted.
I’d rather be called a Mormon than the other thing they call us — child molesters.
****
This whole thing might be a ruse from the Obama camp to undermind Romney as VP with all this disinformation and confusion swirling around!
You are that went off the deep end. I merely suggested you calm down.
