AM 1050 WLIP WELCOMES WISCONSIN'S TOP REPUBLICAN
REINCE PRIEBUS HOSTS 3 HOURS ON KENOSHA'S RADIO STATION
With main talker Lenny Palmer on vacation, AM 1050 WLIP welcomes the current head of the Wisconsin Republican Party, Reince Priebus as a fill in host on Monday, April 7th. Priebus hails from Kenosha and had been involved in Kenosha politics for years. Reince started his political career as president of the Kenosha County Student GOP, continuing in the same role as head of his College Republicans. In 2004, Priebus ran to represent Kenosha in the State Senate, narrowly losing out for the 22nd district seat. He was elected to his current position earlier this year. Priebus is no stranger to the airwaves. He is a frequent guest on the Lenny Palmer Show on AM 1050 WLIP and has appeared several times as commentator and guest on radio and television programs throughout the state.
