A tab for State Message Board near the Forum / Comments / Pings tabs would be slick.
You might consider using a dark blue, perhaps #333399, perhaps bold, for stories not yet read. The gray font for viewed stories is excellent, BTW.

I'll second that one....It's kind of a pain to have to go to my profile page to get to my state board. If there's a better way, please do tell.
