The Reform Institute has been pushing and lobbying for open primaries for eight years. McCain was the President of the Institute. Soros’ Open Society and Tides Foundations financed them.

The Reform Institute also lobbies for open borders, fighting global warming, gun control, campaign finance reform, etc. etc. Their agenda reads like a list of McCain’s pet issues.

Interesting. Thanks. Open primaries do fit McCain’s style of getting independents and democrats to vote for him in the primaries. However, I don’t think that will translate to the same votes in the general. Maybe being the nominee is enough for him.
